I am happy to officiate and customize a service as Rabbi and/or Cantor at both traditional and interfaith wedding ceremonies, including co-officiating. I provide civil and non-denominational services, and I preside over baby namings and unveilings. I offer conversion tutoring and ceremonies at the Mikveh. I provide services for Philadelphia, PA and surrounding areas.
Along with being a Rabbi, I am a Cantor with a background in operatic singing. I have won several opera competitions, including the Philadelphia Opera Competition. I am a recipient of the Dr. Yetta Deitch Novotny Fellowship for Excellence in Jewish Studies and the Israel I. First Memorial Liturgical Award in Liturgy and Jewish Music
"Rabbi Sandra Miller did an incredible job for our same-sex, interfaith wedding. We had a full jewish wedding that she allowed us to personalize so that it reflected who we were as a couple. We're an interfaith couple and a significant percentage of our guests were not familiar with jewish wedding customs. She did a tremendous job of explaining each component of the ceremony so that everyone could follow along and understand the significance of each step. She also created the a beautiful story of how we met and what our relationship was like which she included as part of the ceremony. The whole experience was incredibly meaningful to me as a bride and many of my guests have told me that was the best wedding ceremony they've seen. I would highly recommend Rabbi Miller for your wedding or other lifecycle event."
